New favorite brand - & Other Stories

NEW STORE IN TOWN!
Last month, the Swedish fashion brand & Other Stories opened their first store in Belgium. The shop is located right in the cosy shopping centre in Antwerp. I've known the brand for some time since my holiday in Copenhagen, but yesterday I could finely show the store to Julia when she came to visit me in Antwerp. Her reaction? "Oh wow, this is definitely my new favorite fashion brand"! :)

During my vacation in Copenhagen and the trip to Malmö, we basically shopped 5 days in a row. There were just so many beautiful design shops and fashion stores I couldn't stop myself from buying so many things. Here you have a list of my favorite souvenirs!

Outfit of the day

I just had my fourth exam and I'm so so glad this one's done! It really was a hell to study, well, it was interesting but very difficult and lots of details to remember and study by heart, so I had a lot of stress for today! There's not much time to relax because my next exam is on thursday, but that will be the last one so I'm really counting down till the holidays! I actually have the bad habit of studying late at the evening or during the night and I always wake up pretty early, which makes me very tired at this moment. I guess I'm going to sleep for some hours this afternoon before starting to study again! Nevertheless I really wanted to post something today, so here are just some pictures of my outfit of the day. When I study I usually just wear some comfy clothes, perfect for sitting at your desk for many hours. A lot of times, I'm thinking about what I'm going to wear for my next exam or just trying on some of them. We all need our study breaks, don't we? :)

New in: LNBeanies

Yesterday I bought this beautiful hand knitted beanie by the young Belgian designer Ellen Kegels, entirely made of Peruvian baby alpaca yarn. I'm totally ready for the cold winter days!

New In - Skagen Watch

I was looking for a new watch for some time but couldn't find that perfect one I was looking for. Yesterday I went on a shopping trip to Breda (The Netherlands) with my sister. There, I finally found a watch and I'm so happy with it! 

Look of the day: Palm leggings

So this is just a quick post about what I was wearing today. It is very simple, a palm leggings from the H&M and Versace collaboration, matched with a loose fitting black blouse and some escada black flats. Fall is really coming now and I bet these are the last days with some sun. But with fall coming, it also means that my most favourite time of the year is quickly approaching too: winter. There is just something about this season that makes me so happy. The short days give you the perfect reason to stay inside, snuggle up in front of the fire place with a good book and some hot cocoa. You can start decorating for christmas and spend some time skiing.
One of the things on my to do list for fall? Definitely to master the layering style. I am so bad at it! I guess, if you can pull off layering, you really can pull off everything else. What do you guys think?

One dress, three ways to wear it!

So I bought this dress a year ago and quite a long time it was just laying in my closet since it is quite short and really really fitting and I gained some kilos in the past year. But today I thought "screw it, I'm gonna wear it, and I'm gonna feel great in it!" And I did. I wore the second version with the sweater over it, because it wasn't that warm, but I fully plan on wearing the other versions as well very soon.
You see, that's the great thing about a fitting dress: you have three ways to style it! Just changing shoes is sometimes not enough and that's why I always check whether I can wear a dress not only on its own but also as a skirt or a top. Try this with your dresses, I'm sure you will come up with great new ways of wearing them!

New In...

I must admit I have a weakness for sneakers. Since I'm 1.76 meters tall, I feel really weird on high heels, and, anyway, you can't walk with them in the cities I have lived. Thus, I'll stick with sneakers. Those are the newest addition to my collection which, I'm hoping, will grow even more ;) And even better, instead of paying the usual 100 euros, I got them on 50% off! Who can resist to that??

Nailpolish

Okay guys, as you know we also love fashion and everything that is related to it. And we both have an obscene amount of nail polishes which we never tire of using!
Right now my favourite is a white one from H&M. Their colors are really popping into ones eyes, they cover up pretty perfect AND they are super cheap! So if you want to stock up your nailpolishes, H&M is the shop to go to. Well among a lot of others ;)
